The reference finding

Germany and the United States share one Amazon reference; Britain, France, Italy and Spain share a different one. Same EAN, same product.

That is the second time this has appeared on the site — the Makita LB1200F band saw was the first — and both are invisible to any page that hard-codes a single Amazon link.

Availability

Catalogued and unsold: the American Amazon shop lists the reference with nobody behind it.

Why does the reference differ by country?

It happens when regional catalogs list a product separately and the entries are never merged. The barcode is identical, so it is unambiguously the same set — but a link built on the German reference lands a French reader on a page that does not exist there. This site stores a reference per market for exactly this reason, and this is the second product where it has mattered.

Do I need a sharpening setup too?

Yes, and it is not optional. Turning tools dull within minutes of cutting, and a dull gouge does not cut — it scrapes, tears and catches. A bench grinder and a simple jig are as much part of turning as the lathe.
