PROVISO TOOLS PT1019-1, 100 mm Y-piece with three clamps

The fitting that branches a duct — and the side port is 63 mm (2.48 in), not 100 mm (3.94 in), which decides what you can hang off it.

Every figure below is a manufacturer specification read off the listing itself. The judgments are ours.

What the specification says

A 100 mm (3.94 in) Y-piece with a 63 mm (2.48 in) side port, molded in ABS, 254 × 163 × 100 mm (10 × 6.42 × 3.94 in), supplied with three hose clamps. Part number PT1019-1. No EAN on the listing.

Three clamps is the tell

A fitting sold with clamps is a fitting the maker expects you to seal. Loose push-fit joints in extraction ducting leak air continuously, and every leak upstream of the machine is suction you paid for and did not receive. The clamps are worth more than they look.

Not a substitute for a gate

Branching a duct without gating it makes the system worse, not better. This is the part that divides the run; the blast gate is the part that makes the division useful, and there is one reviewed elsewhere in this family.

What comes up most often

Can I run two machines from one Y-piece?

You can connect two, and you can only extract from one at a time. Air takes the easiest path, so an open branch to an idle machine is a hole the extractor draws through instead of through the machine you are using. A Y-piece needs a blast gate on each branch to be useful, and that is a separate purchase.

Why does the 63 mm (2.48 in) branch matter?

Because it fixes what the branch is for. Sixty-three millimeters suits a sander, a router or a track saw hose; it will not take the 100 mm (3.94 in) port of a planer or a table saw. Airflow falls sharply with diameter, so the small branch is genuinely a hand-tool branch rather than a second machine branch.
