Every figure below is a manufacturer specification read off the listing itself. The judgments are ours.

What the specification says

1,790 × 13 × 0.90 mm (70.5 × 0.51 × 0.04 in), 6 teeth per inch, bi-metal M42 HSS, described as nail-resistant. No EAN on the listing.

What bi-metal buys

A carbon-steel blade has hardened teeth on a hard body: hit a nail and the teeth shatter. A bi-metal blade welds a high-speed-steel tooth edge onto a flexible alloy back, so it survives impacts that destroy the cheaper kind, and it flexes around the wheels without cracking.

For new timber it is unnecessary. For pallets, reclaimed boards and skip finds — where a hidden nail is a matter of when, not if — it pays for itself on the first strike.

What comes up most often

How do I know which length fits my saw?

It is a fixed dimension of the machine, printed in the manual and usually on a plate on the saw itself. Blade length is not adjustable — a blade 20 mm (0.79 in) too long or too short simply will not tension. Measure or read it before ordering, every time.

What does 6 TPI mean in practice?

Roughly, keep three teeth in the cut. At 6 TPI the teeth are about 4 mm (0.16 in) apart, so the blade suits stock from about 12 mm (0.47 in) up. On 5 mm (0.20 in) ply it will grab; on 100 mm (3.94 in) of oak it will pack and burn.
