Every figure below is a manufacturer specification read off the listing itself. The judgments are ours.

What the specification says

A 6 m (20 ft) band with four corner jaws, tensioned by a screw handle, with soft inner faces to protect the workpiece. The manufacturer names picture frames, cabinets, drawers and irregular shapes including rectangular, round, polygonal and square. Part number Ejoyousp2519vh0i3. No EAN on the listing.

Why a band and not a clamp

A mitred corner has no face for a clamp to bear on: press on the outside and the joint slides open, press on the mitre and there is nowhere to put the jaw. A band goes round the outside of the whole assembly and converts one screw of tension into inward pressure at every corner, which is the only arrangement that closes four joints at once.

Dry fit first

The band pulls hard and pulls evenly, and it will happily close a badly cut frame into a badly shaped one. Assemble dry, check both diagonals, and adjust the mitres before glue goes anywhere near it.

What comes up most often

Does a band clamp make a frame square?

No, and expecting it to is the commonest disappointment with these. The band applies inward pressure at every corner equally; whether the result is square depends entirely on whether the mitres were cut at the same angle. Check the diagonals with a tape while the glue is still open, and correct by easing one corner rather than by tightening harder.

When is this better than four separate clamps?

Whenever the shape has no opposing flat faces. A mitred frame gives a conventional clamp nothing to push against, and corner clamps hold one joint at a time while the others drift. A band closes all four joints simultaneously, which is also why it suits hexagons, octagons and round carcases.
