Workshop dust equipment divides in two, and the division is not about price. A chip extractor moves a large volume of air at low pressure through a wide hose: that is what a planer, a bandsaw or a table saw needs, because those machines produce shavings faster than a narrow hose can carry them. A workshop vacuum moves a small volume at high pressure through a narrow hose: that is what a sander, a router or a track saw needs, where the waste is fine and the port is small.
Swap them and both fail in a predictable way. The vacuum blocks on the first handful of shavings, and the extractor develops almost no suction at a small port — leaving the fine fraction in the air, which is the part that matters for your lungs.
This is the second category. A Ø 36 mm (1.42 in) hose and a drum this size make it the right tool for sander and router ports, for site clean-up and for wet pickup — and the wrong one for a planer, which will fill it in minutes and block the hose while doing it.
Three media for three jobs: foam for wet work, pleated for dry, and the paper bag when you want the fine dust contained rather than tipped out of an open drum. Which one is fitted matters more to the result than any figure Einhell has published, and the listing gives no suction or airflow rating at all.

For occasional use, yes — a Ø 36 mm (1.42 in) hose on a vacuum is the right kind of machine for a small port, unlike a chip extractor. What the listing does not publish is the suction figure, so we cannot tell you how well. Also check whether the tool port needs an adapter.
It lets air in deliberately, which drops the suction at the nozzle. It is there so that a stuck nozzle can be released without switching off, and it is genuinely useful when vacuuming anything light enough to be pinned to the end of the tube.
Because a vacuum spends its life being dragged behind you, and the cord is the thing that catches. Off a socket it also works in a garden, a car or an unwired outbuilding. The cost is that a 36 V machine drains two 18 V packs, and you need those packs before it does anything at all.
